Employer Description This is a company that supplies chemicals and also has a food and beverage sector. Job Description Your responsibilities will be the following: Oversee regional and local sales staff. Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs. Assist with resolving customer complaints regarding sales and service. Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts. Management of product introduction, new product development, customer satisfaction and centricity, negotiation of supply agreements Management of existing contracts and supply agreements Prepare annual sales budget, monthly forecasts and monthly sales reports. Manage and grow export opportunities with the sales team Manage sales targets and impact of rates of Exchange on profitability Manage development of new products and supply chain into new markets Determine price schedules and discount rates. Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures. Effectively set targets and manages/trains staff. Qualifications Matric / Grade 12. BCom in Sales and Marketing (preferable) N Dip in Food Sciences would be an advantage Skills Minimum 6 years technical and commercial experience within the Coatings and Construction industries. Must have sound understanding of pricing structures. Minimum 5 years management role leading a team Benefits Car Allowance Travel Allowance Medical Aid Provident Fund
