Diagnosing, repairing and ensuring long-term maintenance on trucks To carry out the servicing and mechanical/ technical repairs on trucks Run diagnostic test and interpret results Identify spares requirements for vehicles Maintaining records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles Do fault-finding Attending to Breakdowns Requirements Grade 12 Trade Certificate Must have valid Driving License (code 14 preferable) Must have at least 5 years experience in the transport workshop environment Be physically fit for heavy work Must be willing to work shifts, overtime, standby and be available for call outs
