We are supporting one of our customers, a leader in the distribution sector, in its search for a Warehouse Team Leader. Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, the Team Leader will play a key role in supporting the management team in planning and organizing the daily operations of the department. Responsibilities Analysis and Organization: Assess field operations, define priorities and allocate team members according to shift operational needs. Productivity: Ensure team operational productivity and support team members in achieving performance objectives. Safety: Promote OHS standards and ensure a safe working environment for the team. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that equipment inspections are carried out by workers and that mechanical problems are resolved promptly. Training and Development: Identify distributor training needs and propose opportunities for improvement. Pallet Management: Ensure that all pallets sent for distribution are scanned. Error Analysis: Analyze distribution error reports and pass on information to the appropriate people. Coordination: Collaborate with the central aisle department to ensure pallets are distributed according to the FIFO method. Pallet truck management: Coordinate the use of pallet trucks. - College diploma in administration, supply chain, operations management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; - Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position; - Ability to coordinate several activities at the same time and to manage priorities; - Good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel; - Good communication and leadership skills; - Organized, rigorous and great attention to detail; - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment PROCESS: Initial interview with Anissa El Farh, Fed Supply Recruitment Consultant - followed by an interview with the company's Human Resources Manager and Position Manager.
