Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Duties The Finance Graduates duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: The day-to-day processes which include accounts payable. Processing of cash book. Cashbook reconciliation. Processing and sending invoices to clients. Debt collection. Vendor/supplier management. Ensuring that insurance is up to date. Procurement (office supplies/stationary). Processing of payment of suppliers. Applications and processing of Services SETA applications. Perform all relevant tasks/project allocated within this role. Data analytics - gathering data and using data to support the Finance team in making strategic decisions. Compile team presentations. Attend team meetings to record action items and next steps. Assist to map out department processes and ways of work. Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Attributes) A relevant BCom Degree or National Diploma or equivalent NQF qualification with Accounting or Finance as a major. 2 years applicable experience. An understanding of accounts payable and vendor management administration. Any relevant working experience with accounting packages would be advantageous. Computer proficiency in MS Office. Strong coordination, administration, and organisation skills. Data analytics skills. Problem-solving skills. Customer service skills. Time management skills. Project management skills would be advantageous. Required Profile: A mature and well-organised team player who: Is willing to learn and develop their business acumen and commercial awareness. Has the ability to perform various tasks/project simultaneously, act individually, and think creatively. Wants to succeed, aspire to excellence, and think outside the box. Can apply their theoretical knowledge into practical situations. Has strong communication skills Verbal and written and the confidence to discuss relevant researched topics with a wide variety of individuals and groups. Is familiar with collaboration tools (Microsoft Team, Google Meet and Zoom). Is digital savvy. Is competitive and has a proactive attitude.
