Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Purchase Order Support: Assist with the preparation and management of purchase orders.Workflow Management: Create and maintain workflow files to support the buying process.Market Analysis: Conduct research and market analysis to aid in strategic decision-making.Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the fashion buying team, including handling various ad hoc tasks.Brand relationship management: support with external brand relations (organize product trainings, gathering sales assets, etc)Market planning support: Administrative support for Fashion Week schedule and planningLaunch Calendar maintanence: Keeping internal documents updated to ensure smooth roll out of product launches

Scope of Work:

Product Categories: Support will span across various product categories, including womenswear, menswear, footwear, and accessories.Critical Path Management: Contribute to the smooth execution of the critical path throughout the fashion buying cycle.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in French and English; proficiency in Japanese is a plus but not required.
  • 2 to 5 years of professional experience in a similar position or field.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft 365 environment, most importantly Excel.
  • Decisive, structured, and organized, with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and experience handling projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, written, and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Interest in the world of Comme des Garçons and Dover Street Market.
