Data Analyst

Qualifications: Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent Minimum Requirements: Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data manipulation techniques Strong expertise in Power BI for data visualisation and dashboard creation Ability to use SQL for querying databases Understanding of tabular/multidimensional cubes Strong data analysis skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings clearly Experience working with large datasets and conducting statistical analyses Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Attention to detail Strong financial analysis and interpretation skills Good business communication and presentation skills Knowledge of gaming systems, processes, policies, and procedures Understanding of company and regulatory rules, including disciplinary codes Main Responsibilities: Collect, clean, and pre-process data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity Use advanced Excel functions like pivot tables, formulas, and macros to generate an in-depth report Develop visually compelling and interactive dashboards in Power BI Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor data analyses to meet specific business needs Maintain and optimise data models for maximum performance Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies Assist in the training of Gaming and Marketing employees in collaboration with relevant management teams Stay up to date with developments in the Gaming industry to provide ongoing analysis and opinions
