Mentus Recruitment are proud to be supporting one of the largest independent providers of mental health services across the UK.
We are currently seeking an experienced Specialty Doctor or Associate Specialist to work in a Female Acute inpatient hospital based in Warrington.
This role is full time, and is in a new service, offering an opportunity to innovate and lead in service development. This will be set within a well-established service that aims continually to improve and deliver excellent care for our female inpatients on one of the largest female-only psychiatric hospital sites in the country.
Responsibilities:
As an Associate Specialist here, you will ensure the high quality first-line medical care of our inpatients, liaise effectively with external professionals and carers, provide written and oral evidence for Hospital Managers and Tribunal hearings, work towards safe discharges, and be a valued and effective member of the multidisciplinary team here.

Qualifications:
- Full GMC registration
- Experience working in psychiatry within multidisciplinary teams
- To be in good standing for CPD with the Royal College of Psychiatrists
- To be linked in with an appraisal process within the last year
- At least 3 years' experience in psychiatry
- Experience working as a doctor within similar environment
