Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with flexitime opportunities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Technologist to join one of Europe's leading glass fibre manufacturers. Our client prides themselves on their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and their innovative approach to producing world-class products. Recent graduates will be considered for this role.

As a Product Technologist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and development within the existing business, as well as assisting with future technical projects.

Main Duties:

• Provide direction and support to ensure compliance with legislation
• Coordinate regular testing of products to identify and address faults, providing evaluations to improve their quality
• Develop and update technological processes for production
• Prepare and maintain up-to-date technical documentation
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to parameters and specifications
• Develop improvement plans for products and processes, analysing data to identify areas for enhancement
• Conduct research and development work in laboratories and production facilities
• Utilise company manufacturing systems to maintain accurate written and electronic records

Position Requirements:

• Educated to degree level in Chemistry or Materials Science
• Demonstrable problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in implementing ideas to simplify and improve business processes
• Good understanding of IT systems and excellent Excel skills
