Finance Officer

We are now looking for a Finance Officer to join our world class company. Candidates must have a good understanding of Finance and be someone who is competent working with clients, customers and colleagues of all levels of seniority.

Role Fundamentals - What you will do?

  • Contacting customers to ensure timely payment of invoices to meet agreed monthly targets
  • Logging queries accurately and following through to resolution
  • Ensuring the collection process is followed
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Managing the finance inbox escalations to resolve queries and other requests
  • Assist with month end processes
  • Build relationships both internally and with customers.
  • Ad Hoc duties when required

What you will need to suceed?

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience on the rest of the Microsoft package; Word, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams
  • Maths & English GCSE’s minimum grade C
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Results/target focused
  • Hardworking, persistent, and dependable
  • Positive and enthusiastic with a ‘can do attitude’
  • Attention to detail
  • Motivation and a desire to do a great job and thrive in a busy fast-paced environment
  • A team player who knows when to ask for help and is happy to offer support to colleagues

Hours: 40hrs

Days: Monday – Friday only
