The Asset Management function within Altrad Babcock is a highly specialised engineering service and equipment provider supporting our customers to minimise cost, maximise return and mitigate risk through their asset’s integrity lifecycle.

The Operations function within our Asset Management business sector provides technical support across a wide range of projects and a diverse customer base.

We currently have requirements for a Senior Engineering Operations Supervisor to join our mission of delivering certified Asset Management service, consultancy, and integrated projects, across the global low carbon energy and infrastructure markets.

As a Senior Engineering Operations Supervisor, you will have a proven record of accomplishment of providing technical leadership and people management in the field of Asset Management, as well as having technical expertise in a transferrable skillset.

You will lead the oversight and allocation of skilled resource in our Renfrew site, and on our customer, sites as specified by the Operations Leader. A key aspect of this role will be ensuring that our operations team members are set to work in a professional and safe manner, and they are provided with the tools and training required to carry out the tasks being set. You will be expected to carry out regular workplace inspections, stopping any work that is not in line with company standards and expectations.

You will be expected to fully contribute and lead the development of safe systems of work relevant to your area of expertise.

All this experience should be supported by either an apprenticeship with recognised qualification such as SVQ, ONC or City and Guilds in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
