About the role:

Our team provides Financial Service clients with Internal Audit services. Using a combination of industry and business expertise to deliver innovative Internal Audit solutions to clients across the UK. We are currently looking for a Financial Services Internal Audit Senior Associates to join our rapidly expanding national team. You will have the opportunity to work in the fast paced world of Financial Services internal audit.

Our NextGen Internal Audit offering builds on our market leading internal audit services and gives you an opportunity to challenge yourself as well as build enhanced digital skills. If you are currently working in or have previously worked in external audit, we would happily discuss this with you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering Internal Audit engagements from planning through to execution and reporting
  • Being agile and working across a range of different subjects and internal audit projects / clients
  • Communicating risk findings, verbally and written, to clients in a pragmatic and helpful manner
  • Building an internal network of relationships with Subject Matter Experts in areas of specialism such as Cyber, Operational Resilience, Cloud computing, Governance etc.
  • Supporting our subject matter experts in delivering insight and expertise, potentially moving towards being a subject matter expert yourself in a chosen area
  • Building meaningful relationships with clients through client engagements and networking


The skills and experience we are looking:
  • A passion for delivering value and insight to clients through Internal Audit services.
  • Experience of risk and control identification and performing controls testing
  • Knowledge of the financial services sector (particularly Insurance), including an understanding of how risks are managed within the sector;
  • Ability to manage and deliver against deadlines while working on multiple projects;
  • Strong client handling and relationship management skills;
  • Experience of problem solving and being able to implement and deliver solutions tailored to clients' needs; and
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
