About the role:

We are seeking a Security Manager who will play a crucial role in providing support to developers, improving the security posture of our organisation by ensuring secure coding practices and reducing the number of basic errors made during the Software Development Lifecycle. Sitting within the Engineering. Collaborating closely with Network Information Security, providing technical support in alignment to the Information Security Policies, reviewing projects and recommending security measures. The Security Lead will also be responsible for acting as a subject matter expert, raising the profile of security, and driving change within the organisation.

What your days will look like

  • Reinforce the importance of security and responsibilities with developers, initially targeting the Pro Code team.
  • Be the central point of contact for security within Engineering.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Create and implement a new "Secure Code Review" process to review, recommend, and support each project.
  • Organise training and development opportunities around learning through a variety of methods including ideas such as a "Security Week" event to educate employees on secure coding practices, common mistakes, tools, and available support.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to incorporate security topics into regular meetings and sessions.


The role is for you if:
  • Proven experience in software development and secure coding practices.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to software security.
  • Ability to drive change and influence others to prioritise security.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP) are a plus.


Must possess a CISSP, CSSLP Qualification (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
