Marketing Communications Manager

A small but well established engineering business is looking for a Marketing Communications Manager to join their team.

The Marketing and Communications Manager will create and execute strategies to boost their brand across platforms, managing impactful content that drives awareness, highlights projects, and reinforces our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness within the industry.
• Write, develop, audit, update, and manage content for the website, social media, and internal intranet (PowerShare), ensuring all content is current, relevant, and on-brand.
• Oversee and manage the company’s presence on referral websites, ensuring accurate and up-to-date content.
• Write and distribute regular internal communications to keep the team informed and engaged.
• Identify and create content opportunities for marketing, public relations (PR), and showcasing Metis’s work to external audiences.
• Lead the research and recommendation of third-party industry events, including participation, sponsorship opportunities, and speaking engagements.

Qualifications

• A degree in Marketing, Communications, English Literature, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Minimum 3 Years’ relevant experience in a marketing and communication role, preferably (but not essential) within the civil and environmental engineering industry.
• Proven experience in creating, editing, and managing digital content across various formats, including websites, advertorials, editorials, and social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn).
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute content and communication strategies that support brand messaging and engagement.
• Competence in using analytics to evaluate content performance and inform strategic improvements.

3-4 days in their Richmond office.

Salary of up to £60,000.
