Job Description

Talent Magpie are exclusively partnered an outdoor sports company looking for an ecommerce lead to support growing their D2C and Amazon channels. The client is a prominent distributor of high-quality mountain biking products, including bikes, components, accessories, and apparel.


Job Purpose:

My client is on the hunt for a dynamic Amazon Marketplace and B2C Specialist who can supercharge their online sales! If you’re passionate about e-commerce and have a deep understanding of the Amazon ecosystem, this is the perfect role for you. You'll be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge strategies to boost sales, elevate brand visibility, and deliver an exceptional customer experience across multiple eCommerce platforms. Creativity, analytical skills, and a love for the mountain biking industry will be your tools to make a significant impact.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Amazon Marketplace Management:

  • Innovate and execute strategies to amplify sales and brand visibility on Amazon.
  • Optimize product listings with compelling titles, descriptions, and images.
  • Use SEO and keyword research to improve rankings.
  • Oversee inventory, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  • Engage with customer reviews and questions.
  • Analyze sales data to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Launch impactful promotional campaigns using Amazon advertising tools.
  • Stay ahead of Amazon policies and trends.


B2C Platform Management:

  • Ignite sales through direct-to-consumer channels.
  • Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns to boost traffic and conversions.
  • Manage customer service, returns, and complaints with a customer-first approach.
  • Partner with the marketing team to elevate brand engagement across email, social media, and paid advertising.


Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics for all sales channels.
  • Provide insights and actionable recommendations to improve conversion rates and lower customer acquisition costs.


Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and logistics teams for seamless operations.
  • Work with suppliers to optimize product offerings and availability.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies.


Skills and Experience/Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Amazon Marketplace and D2C e-commerce platforms.
  • Expertise in SEO, PPC, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Track record of driving sales growth and enhancing online visibility.
  • Proficient in tools like Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, and Google Analytics.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for mountain biking or sports is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
