We’re looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to join our growing and fast paced marketing department who will support the development and optimise of all marketing campaigns across all marketing channels. The Marketing Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to inform and optimize our marketing strategies. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing analytics, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail.

What do we need you to do?

1 Data collection, measurement and management:

  • Collect and analyse data from various marketing channels, including website analytics, social media, email campaigns, and digital advertising.
  • Work with Media Agency to build measurement and attribution models into Media.
  • Find ways to compare data across channels and across different marketing objectives (long and short term) to inform smart decision making.
  • Accurately attribute all conversion data to its original source.
  • Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, including ROI, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing campaigns based on data-driven insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy & integrity by regularly auditing and validating data sources.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends and benchmark performance.
  • Support customer segmentation work, and develop ways to attribute segments within our customer user base.
  • Utilize data to refine targeting strategies and enhance customer engagement.
  • Conduct competitive research, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in the market


2 Data Analysis and Interpretation

  • Analyse marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement and to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights to support marketing strategies and decision-making.
  • Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


3 Reporting and Visualisation

  • Streamline existing reporting suite and advise on new, amendments and improvements.
  • Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track key marketing metrics and KPIs.
  • Present data insights and recommendations to marketing and executive teams through clear and compelling visualizations.
  • Ensure all reports and definitions are documented and distributed where necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to stay abreast of outcomes and learnings.


What skills and experience do we need you to have?

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data analysis or similar role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Demonstrable understanding of Performance Marketing and Media Measurement
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical analysis.

  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems is a plus.
