Job Description

As a Senior Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing regulatory submissions, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and providing expert guidance on regulatory matters. Duties and responsibilities include: Develop and implement regulatory strategies to support the successful registration and approval of products in domestic and international markets. Guide the management team with engagements in line with the financial services sector regulators such as the Information Regulator, BBBEE Commissioner, Competition Law Commissioner. Monitor and interpret regulatory developments and changes in legislation to ensure ongoing compliance. Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, managing interactions and communications effectively. Conduct regulatory risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies. Review and approve labelling, advertising, and promotional materials for compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in regulatory affairs and compliance. Lead and mentor junior regulatory affairs staff, providing training and support as needed. Requirements: LLB/ Post graduate qualification Risk Management/ Compliance or equivalent Admitted attorney (advantageous) Minimum 7 years of experience in financial services industry FAIS license and legal entity reporting (advantageous) Strong verbal communications and report writing skills Apply now: If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
