Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Development and Customization: Assist in developing and customizing Salesforce applications to align with business requirements. Write Apex code to implement custom business logic and manage complex workflows. Create and enhance Visualforce pages and Lightning components to improve user interfaces. Configuration: Configure Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and validation rules. Set up and manage Salesforce automation tools such as Workflow Rules, Process Builder, and Flow. Integration: Support integration between Salesforce and other systems. Aid in writing and maintaining integration code using APIs and web services. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshoot Salesforce-related issues. Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues effectively. Testing and Deployment: Participate in unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Assist with deploying changes from development to production environments using change sets or other deployment tools. Documentation: Document technical specifications, development processes, and customizations. Maintain accurate records of changes and enhancements to Salesforce configurations and code. Learning and Development: Stay current with Salesforce releases and new features. Engage in continuous learning to improve technical skills and stay informed of Salesforce best practices. Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. Collaborate with senior developers and team members to ensure quality and consistency in all deliverables. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Certifications: Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) Preferred Salesforce Platform Developer I Preferred Experience: Practical experience with Salesforce through internships, projects, or coursework is highly desirable. Familiarity with Salesforce development tools and concepts is preferred. Skills: Basic knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components. Understanding of Salesforce configuration and administration. Familiarity with SOQL and SOSL queries. Experience with Salesforce development tools like Salesforce DX or the Salesforce CLI is a plus. Ability to understand and follow coding standards and best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
