The role:

This position entails overseeing the integrity and precision of fleet information across our airports, Group functions, and our digital services company, CAVU. Your duties will encompass ensuring adherence to regulatory standards for the Master Insurance Database (MID) and establishing documented processes and controls for MAG fleet compliance. In addition, you will address any current fleet ownership and compliance issues and ensure that the group insurance policy reflects the actual fleet status.

Additionally, you will develop a cost of ownership model for different fleet types to support the standardisation of procurement and the transition to electric vehicles. You will also assist in the evaluation of potential software updates or alternatives for Tranman, the fleet management system.

Furthermore, you will create live data reports on fleet holding, utilisation, condition, and compliance, and provide an overview of condition assessments, availability measurement and investment planning.

What will make you successful in the role?

Success in this position requires a suitable technical degree and substantial fleet management experience. You will be able to develop and implement strategies that consider various factors and data sources and present them in a clear and coherent way. You will have strong communication and stakeholder management skills and be able to work effectively at all levels of the organisation. You will also have proficiency in creating whole life cost models, and have sound industry knowledge of best practices and procedures. Experience in planning for electric vehicle transition is desirable but not essential.
