The Fabian Society is seeking a world-class leader, influencer and communicator to shape progressive thinking in the UK and beyond. Labour in government affords us a rare opportunity to influence progressive change through rigorous debate, research, and policy development. We need a remarkable person to take the helm.

We seek an exceptional individual with sound management skills and leadership experience, able to lead a small staff team in Westminster, and manage stakeholders including our membership, executive, donors, writers, and politicians from local constituencies to the Cabinet.

You will be as at home on the committee corridor and in Portcullis House, as you are in international seminars and broadcast studios. You will bring intellectual rigour and political nous. You will inspire and motivate. Most of all, you will ensure that the Fabian Society thrives in our turbulent times, remaining a vibrant, modern, inclusive, and progressive force.

The Fabian Society is Britain’s leading left-of-centre think tank dedicated to new public policy and political ideas. We believe that radical long-term goals are best advanced through empirical, practical, gradual reform.
