An outstanding Midland's agency, who've experienced tremendous growth over the last few years, is looking to recruit a skilled and ambitious SEO Content Manager into their fast growing content and digital PR team.

Working with an amazing portfolio of exciting and innovative consumer clients (leisure, retail, FMCG and sports + more!), this agency specialises in working brands that excite their customers.


Description

As SEO Content Manager, you'll be creating and executing integrated content strategies, identifying new business growth opportunities, bring strategic ideas to meetings, and mentoring junior team members. You'll be bringing to the table a good understanding of digital PR, link building and media dynamics alongside your epic skills in content.

Day to day your responsibilities will include:

  • conducting keyword research, content audits and competitor analysis
  • reviewing on-page and off-page performance, using the results to make recommendations
  • managing SEO content with clients, creating topics and timelines for workflow through content roadmaps
  • creating and optimising meta tags, headings and other HTML elements for SEO
  • working on local and international SEO strategies
  • developing and conducting comprehensive content strategies
  • supporting the development and execution of digital PR strategies
  • supporting with outreach strategies
  • measuring the effectiveness of digital PR campaigns


Experience

To be considered for this position, you'll need to have experience in the following:

  • experience preferably in technical SEO and onsite/offsite content
  • excellent writing skills with experience in SEO optimisation
  • a broad digital marketing knowledge across social media and PPC and content strategy
  • experience ideally in mentoring junior team members
  • familiarity with HTML, CSS and ideally WordPress
  • experience in using tools such as GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz and Accuranker
