Job Description

Are you a London-based PR with a passion for the drinks industry (particularly spirits)?


Speciality Brands are looking for a PR & Marketing assistant to join their well-established marketing team - someone with experience in food or drinks PR, and enthusiasm for the industry who's looking to expand their experience working across a range of different projects, from media relations and social media management to creation of sales tools and events support.


Salary: £25-27k

Additional Benefits: Pension, BUPA, £250 product allowance, 10% bonus

Ways of working: 4 days per week either in Acton office OR WeWork offices across London with 1 day working from home (this role requires a high degree of flexibility due to the nature of the projects and requirements of the media and partners).

  • Reporting into the PR manager, you will join a team of seven dedicated people in marketing, driving very active digital advertising, PR & social media programmes.
  • Develop your range of PR & marketing skills by working with lots of different parts of the business, from events and designers to sales teams, and on a range of activities for trade and consumers.
  • Channel your curiosity for world of drinks and work with experts in their field and fantastic brands

You?


  • A passion and understanding of the drinks industry, particularly spirits
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and previous experience in a PR role
  • Knowledge of the drinks UK media landscape including both trade and consumer titles
  • Understanding of influencers campaign management
  • Experience of support to media-led events such as events, masterclasses or trips
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Well organised, ability to proactively plan and execute projects to meet required deadlines, while remaining calm under pressure
  • Outstanding relationship building and problem solving
  • Dynamic and flexible individual with a ‘can do’ attitude.


The Process...


There will be 3 stages: First stage interviews will be held via Teams with the Senior PR Manager and the second and third stages in person with the Marketing Manager and MD.
