Senior Project Manager

Location: Central London, UK (Hybrid Working - 3-days in the office and 2-days working from home - Monday-Friday)

Job Description:

Our client who are a leading Construction Project Management, Cost Management and Programme Management Consultancy is currently looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to sit within the Healthcare / Education Real Estate team. You will be responsible for delivering high quality project management services across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility studies to handover.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and secure resources for the project or programme, using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Lead and manage the project or programme team and delegate tasks, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
• Identify and manage risks and issues, using effective mitigation and contingency strategies.
• Ensure the project or programme stays on track and delivers on time and within budget, using relevant project management methodologies and standards.
• Build, sustain and facilitate relationships with project or programme stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
• Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of the project or programme, using appropriate metrics and indicators.

Qualifications:

• In order to be consider for this role you must have at least 5 years experience working as Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within the Healthcare sector however our clients is also looking for candidates with experience in other sectors such as: Science / Research, Pharmaceutical, Commercial New Build/ Refurb and Data Centres.
• Within a Construction/ Property Consultancy you will be successfully delivering the whole project or a large element of it and will likely have some direct team management responsibilities (perhaps managing Assistant / Graduate Project Managers).
• Ideally professionally qualified in one of the following fields: construction, project management, surveying, or architecture and it would be desirable if you're chartered (or currently in the process of gaining your MRICS, MCIOB or CHPP qualification).
