Leverage your experience and relationships to drive national account growth as the National Customer Sales Manager

YOUR ROLE

The National Customs Sales Manager is responsible for the strategic development as well as the volume and turnover growth of the assigned product range of Customs Brokerage as a stand alone product. Furthermore you will organise and manage the business development in line with the Customs Roadmap as well as branch and national operational ambitions and aims by consulting and supporting the team members of the KNUK Sales Channels (FAM, Field Sales, Key Account Management) on evaluation of customer potential, cross selling in to existing customers or acquisition of new customers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for selling stand-alone customs brokerage
  • Lead, coordinate and support the development of commercial strategies to win large/multicounty and SME opportunities in stand-alone customs business
  • Develop, implement and execute sales program and strategy for customs value added services
  • Identify new business opportunities and closing them with the account owners of the KNUK Sales Channels (FAM, Field Sales, Key Account Management).
  • Work strategically with teams to develop strategic target account plans. and respond to RFQ or RFI inquiries pertaining to customs brokerage enquiries for transport-related and stand-alone customs business
  • Evaluate and review together with the respective account owners opportunities for cross selling to existing KN customers not currently taking advantage of KN customs service and/, or other customs consulting services.
  • Cooperate with Head of National customs brokerage and sales teams to identify targets.
  • Develop a pricing model to win opportunities and maintain profitability

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Experience in Logistics, Industry and/or Customs Brokerage
  • Business Process Improvement, Implementation, or similar experience driving complex projects with
    multiple work streams and stakeholders
  • Strong commercial skill set and understanding of the customs market
  • Project and time management skills, including ability to direct multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to promote clear product vision and to convert customer needs into business growth
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills
  • Experience in working in cross-functional & geographically dispersed teams, and being a self-starter
  • Understanding of both operational and financial management aspects
  • Solid analytical skills with ability to solve problems and develop creative solutions
  • Strong computer skills and technology acumen; includes latest technologies (RPA, OCR) & applications (XLS., databases, presentations)
  • Experience in customs brokerage, legal, regulatory compliance, or related experience desirable along with knowledge of supply chain engineering a plus
