Overview of the role:


We are seeking an experienced and driven e-commerce executive to oversee our online sales presence and grow our revenues by optimising our website’s performance. The ideal candidate will possess in depth knowledge of how to optimise SE0/SEM, website functionality, conversion ratios and return on investment. They will have a strong background in e-commerce strategy, digital marketing, and analytics.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to drive online sales and revenue growth.
  • Manage and optimize our e-commerce platform (e.g., Big Commerce, Shopify) to ensure a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience.
  • Analyse web traffic and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, creating regular reports for the management team.
  • Responsible for all aspects of SEO/SEM.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
  • Monitor and manage, product listings.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practice, and emerging technologies in e-commerce.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, agencies, and partners involved in e-commerce operations.
  • Continuously optimise website performance, including site speed, navigation, and conversion rates. Recommending budget and direction to Management.
  • Optimising all non-product content created by the marketing team and suggesting content strategies.
  • Website product catalogue management - working with Procurement, Product Development & Marketing.
  • Recommending UX optimisations to IT.
  • Liaising with all other departments to ensure transactions are completed efficiently and all staff are fully aware of the website's objectives, capabilities, strengths and weaknesses.
  • Recommending best practice & website style & technology evolution to Management
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to e-commerce operations.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience (4 years+) in e-commerce management.
  • In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with, SEO, and SEM strategies is essential.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong understanding of the different Social Media platforms and how to utilise them to drive sales.
