Job Description

Here at South Thames Colleges Group, we are now seeking a Director of Planning & Information to lead the Management Information Services and to provide the Group with robust, efficient, accurate and timely data collection, information and data analysis and reporting services.

Working closely with the Deputy CEO, youll be a key member of the Group Leadership Team (GLT) and take a prominent role in planning and analysis to support the delivery of strategic objectives and to help identify opportunities for improvements in effectiveness, efficiency, consistency and/or quality. Managing sub-contracted curriculum delivery partnerships and contracts, youll be responsible for the completion and submission of information and data returns to the Groups funding bodies.

Wed like our Director of Planning & Information to hold a level 4 qualification (or equivalent experience) and ideally hold a qualification in management and have recent and relevant evidence of CPD. Youll have successful management experience of a large College information systems and data reporting, with line management of MIS and system development managers. Youll have experience of providing a customer centric MIS service and successfully planning and managing a budget.

With a good eye for detail and the ability to produce and analyse data and make appropriate recommendations, youll have highly developed communication, interpersonal and prioritisation skills and be comfortable in communicating at multiple levels within and outside of the College, including communicating technical information to non-technical specialists.

Preliminary interviews are planned to be held online on Thursday 10th October with final interviews on site on Wednesday 16th October.
