Senior Analysis Engineer

My client is a leading Aerospace OEM with a Global Presence. They are looking for a Senior Analysis Engineer work aircraft systems analysis solutions within an IPT to meet agreed timelines for engineering analysis deliverables. There will be a focus on composites analysis in this role -


Responsibilities include:

  1. Work competently with FE tools e.g. ABAQUS
  2. Classical static stress and fatigue analysis
  3. Interfacing with other areas of the business where necessary: Chief Engineers, Programmes, Test Engineering, Manufacturing etc.
  4. Participate in audit reviews and present information as and when requested
  5. Participate in product validation
  6. Liaise with external suppliers, customers, airframers, regulatory bodies and other industrial organisations as required.
  7. Identify analysis solutions and recommend improvements or suggest alternative methods
  8. Review drawings, designs, concessions and repairs
  9. Communicate professionally & effectively with both internal & external customers and suppliers
  10. Comply with industry standards, regulations & qualification requirements

Job Requirements

What do you need from me?


You will require a minimum HNC/Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline and have the necessary experience to be successful in the role:


  1. Good working knowledge of aerospace design & manufacturing processes. Landing gear experience would be advantageous.
  2. A good understanding of the different engineering functions
  3. Working experience within different engineering functions advantageous.
  4. Experience of working with recognised FEA and fatigue software tools advantageous
  5. Experience of static and fatigue structural analysis methods
  6. Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings
  7. Experience working with aerospace materials engineering properties
  8. Experience of working to regulatory requirements
  9. Experience of working in an IPT environment
  10. Occasional travel may be required
  11. Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly present information
  12. Organised & able to work to strict deadlines
  13. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
