Overview

We’re seeking a qualified NEBOSH health and safety professional to join our team as a Higher Education Risk Consultant. In this role, you will deliver a comprehensive range of health and safety and risk management consultancy services to our clients. Your responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, formulating risk management strategies, and delivering training events. We require someone with NEBOSH qualification, experience in Higher Education, and in-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.


How you'll make an impact

  • Providing a comprehensive range of health and safety/risk management consultancy services to clients.
  • Acting as the primary consultant and lead provider of Risk Consulting services for designated clients.
  • Promoting Risk Consulting services to existing clients and ensuring timely project completion and client happiness.
  • Preparing proposals for clients, tailored to their specific needs.
  • Conducting detailed health and safety/risk management liability reviews and producing high-quality written reports with risk mitigation recommendations.
  • Developing and delivering training events on various health and safety/risk management topics.
  • Analyzing claims information statistically and generating detailed analytical reports for clients.
  • Assisting in crafting regular, high-quality guidance materials for clients.
  • Operating and updating internal administrative client management and reporting systems.
  • Supporting the business in providing advice and guidance to ensure the health and safety of all employees.

About You

  • NEBOSH / IOSH Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience in Higher Education Risk Management and Health and Safety Practices.
  • Detailed knowledge of legislative requirements and best practice guidelines.
  • Familiarity with legal liability principles and processes.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training programs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships.
  • Flexible mindset and ability to adapt to new information and ideas.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications.
