Philanthropy Business Manager - JP Morgan - London - 6 months contract - Hybrid - PAYE

We are seeking a Philanthropy Business Manager to join JP Morgan in London on an initial 6 months contract to support with BAU responsibilities.

Within CR, Global Philanthropy (GP) advances this work through three functions: the JPMorgan Chase Foundation, Impact Finance and Advisory, and Employee Engagement and Volunteerism (EEV). JPMorgan Chase Foundation is looking to fill a contractor role (6-months) in their Global Philanthropy Executive Office team in London which will contribute to the business management and running the day to day operations of the firm's philanthropic efforts globally.

Responsibilities include:

Pipeline & Portfolio management:

  • Manage and monitor philanthropic pipeline for programmatic and EEV grant making globally
  • Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing portfolio management
  • Ensure timely updates and reporting to the senior leadership

Internal Philanthropy Reviews:

  • Track progress of internal philanthropy reviews and handhold the team across end to end grant making lifecycle
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and synthesise insights to inform grant making, future strategies & process improvements
  • Prepare detailed review reports & dashboard
  • Support grant makers globally with the all the processes and encourage using Salesforce effectively for managing philanthropic efforts

Governance committee meetings:

  • Set up meetings with high profile business stakeholders, ensuring availability, logistics for internal teams and external partners as needed
  • Manage strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g., data and insights, communications, operations etc.)
  • Tailor visually appealing as well as meaningful presentations to the needs of different audiences across regions

Offsite planning and operations:

  • Support in organising Annual Offsite with meticulous planning and execution to ensure the event not only runs smoothly but also achieves its intended goals
  • Conduct survey's and set up working groups with team members to understand their expectations and suggestions
  • Support team with materials, data collection and analysis for presentations at the offsite.

Data administration:

  • Manage manual data entry and quality controls to support new grants and workplace giving platform builds, including entering payments and invoices, managing charity eligibility
  • Manage employee communication and customer service related to workplace giving program


Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in employee engagement, volunteerism, philanthropy, and/or social impact, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Desired to have Project Management Professional (PMP) certified but not mandatory
  • Commercial mindset, strong project/program management and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in building, running and iterating programs to multiple stakeholders; managing relationships and collaborating with senior executive stakeholders
  • Demonstrates a high degree of initiative; results-oriented, strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • Excellent writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to distill and present complex information plainly and succinctly
  • Creative, flexible, and collaborative with an ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience working within a global team preferred, including working across different geographic contexts

*Please note that this role will be working on a hybrid model of 3 days office based and up to 2 days work from home. You'll require your own device when wfh.*
