Technical Sales Administrator

Requirements: Grade 12 achieved Tertiary education in a technical field 2 years of experience in sales to the Mining industry Computer Literate Advanced proficiency in MS Office software Duties: Receive, register, evaluate, and clarify client enquiry documentation. Obtain sufficiently accurate pricing for Spares and Services offers/tenders. Assist the Spares and Services team with preparing the necessary pricing schedules for quotations. Assist with the compilation of comprehensive, accurate, competitive repair, parts and services quotations/tenders. Ensure alignment between the clients enquiry documentation, commercial and technical. Submit all quotations/tender requirements on time, considering the time needed for sign-off of the documentation. Receive and assess clients purchase orders for correctness in all aspects, i.e., scope, technical specifications, project schedule, terms and conditions. Submission of a formal receipt of order notification. Complete the order acceptance checklist requirements and clarify matters with the client if required. Prepare a formal order acceptance letter once new purchase orders have been checked for alignment with the offers submitted. Alternatively, a provisional acceptance can be compiled with the assistance of the Sales and Marketing Director. Formally hand-over new purchase orders to the Engineering, Production, and Services Departments. Preparation and circulation of handover meeting minutes. Preparation of supporting documentation is required for submission of invoicing to the client. Ensure interaction with the respective project managers such that they are kept informed of spares and components offered as part of mechanical upgrades and minor sales. Assist project managers with compiling and costing project's specific recommended spares lists. Provide feedback to the Sales & Marketing Department Head on minor sales offers/tender success and probability rates.
