Job Description

Minimum requirements for the role: A minimum grade 12 is essential for this role. A science degree or diploma / certificate would be beneficial but is not essential. Previous experience having worked within the scientific/laboratory environment would be an advantage. The company is happy to consider anyone from any industry as long as they have had internal sales experience wherein, they have processed orders and liaised with customers. Must have good administration skills, planning and organizing skills, time management skills and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills and telephone etiquette. Ability to work within a team, building relationships with the sales team and other departments. Must be able to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. High proficiency computer literacy with Microsoft word and Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Managing all customer orders with regards to IVD and general laboratory instrumentation and consumables working closely with the external sales team and relevant departments. Working closely with the sales team and senior management to understand customer needs and requirements. Generating quotations and processing and tracking orders for customers. Liaising with clients and communicating important feedback and information from customers to the sales team and senior management. Following up on customer queries and leads. Tracking tenders and handling tender administration. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
