Job Description

PILOT CORPORATION OF EUROPE, leader in the manufacturing and distribution of writing instruments, is looking for a candidate for its Allonzier-la-Caille site, near Annecy (74).

Marketplaces Marketing Specialist (Amazon), on a permanent contract, full time, Asap or in JANUARY 2025


Under the responsibility of the Brand and digital Manager, the Marketplaces Marketing Specialist will be responsible for driving and optimising sales across Amazon platforms in some European countries. This role is an integral part of the Digital team (3 persons), working closely with the Brand and Digital Manager and the Amazon Sales Manager (KAM) to enhance the digital product experience, strengthen brand presence and maximise sales through campaigns and promotions in line with the global strategic plan.


MAIN MISSIONS :


1.Digital Product Experience Management:

o Ensure optimal digital product presentation across all Amazon EU instances.

o Manage and update product content in multiple languages, ensuring consistency and accuracy with Amazon SEO best pratices.


2.Brand Store Optimisation:

o Develop and maintain an effective and flexible Brand Store on Amazon that aligns with the brand's image and strategy.

o Collaborate with the creative team to ensure the Brand Store reflects the latest marketing campaigns and product launches.


3.Media Campaign Management:

o Oversee, monitor, and challenge the media agency in the execution of Amazon-specific media campaigns.

o Ensure campaigns are aligned with brand goals and deliver measurable results.

o Analyse campaign performance and provide recommendations for optimisation.


4.Product Offering and Promotion Management:

o Adjust and manage the product assortment on Amazon to meet market demands and sales targets.

o Plan and execute recurring promotional campaigns to drive sales and increase product visibility.

o Coordinate with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure product availability during promotional periods.


5.Sales Growth Initiatives:

o Identify and capitalise on key commercial moments (e.g., Prime Day, Black Friday, Back to School) to drive sales.

o Develop strategies to maximise sales during these peak periods, including targeted promotions and advertising.


6.Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

o Regularly monitor sales performance across all Amazon EU platforms.

o Provide detailed reports and insights to the Brand and Digital Manager, highlighting key trends and opportunities.

o Use data to optimise strategies and campaigns, and nourish other e-commerce projects.


7.Expansion and New Market Opportunities: Actively collaborate with cross functional teams to open of new Amazon marketplaces that present growth opportunities.


PROFILE

• Graduated from a degree on e-commerce or business school, you have at least 2-3 years’ experience in e-commerce particularly within the Amazon ecosystem.

• Strong command of English and proficiency in additional European is a plus.

• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe to meet with partners and attend industry events.


REQUIRED SKILLS :

• Vendor Central Expertise: Proficient in using Amazon Vendor Central to manage product listings, set up promotional campaign, analyse sales and media performance.


• Organizational Skills:

o Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

o Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.


•Proactive Problem Solving:Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify challenges and propose actionable solutions.


• Budget Management: Experience in managing budgets, with a focus on maximizing ROI in advertising and promotions.


•External Partner Management:

o Experience in managing and collaborating with external partners, including media agencies and vendors.

o Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate and align external teams with internal objectives.


•Analytical Skills:

o Ability to analyze sales data and campaign performance to inform decision-making.

o Proficiency in using analytics tools and platforms to track and report on key metrics.


• Written skills are necessary to produce appropriate content
