Overview

As a Pension Coordinator you will play a crucial role in coordinating corporate pension schemes. You will ensure these schemes meet the highest standards and deadlines, contributing to our world-class reputation for excellence. How you'll make an impact

  • Carry out pension administration tasks and calculations with detailed accuracy, adhering closely to internal processes and company policies.
  • Draft correspondence and reports, ensuring all communications are exceptionally professional.
  • Manage the logging in and out of post effectively.
  • Assist consultants and account managers by providing the necessary documentation to efficiently implement their responsibilities.
  • Ensure client work is processed in a timely manner and within target dates.
  • Prioritize tasks to maintain service level agreements.
  • Provide support to team members and the Team Leader, encouraging a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Handle non-standard client/member queries with a logical and analytical approach.
  • Take day-to-day client responsibility under guidance, ensuring client happiness.
  • Ensure all work is peer-reviewed as appropriate to maintain quality.
  • Complete timesheets in a timely manner.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required to support team and company objectives.

About You

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in defined benefit/defined contribution pension scheme administration.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Proven track record to process, collect, and input data efficiently.
  • PMI experience or willingness to study for PMI qualifications preferred.
  • Outstanding time management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to answer queries by telephone, letter, and email effectively.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
  • Familiarity with various codes of professional ethics and standards, such as those set by PMI or equivalent experience.
  • Dedication to following all Corporate Policies & Procedures (CPPs).
  • Awareness of current regulatory and legal obligations of the function.
  • Ability to report any suspected breaches to your line manager immediately upon discovery.
