Job Coach

Our client, a well-established organisation in the employability sector, is currently seeking two Job Coaches based at Manchester Airport and University Hospitals. This is a contract role, providing support and training to SEND learners during their work experience placements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support SEND learners during work experience placements by providing high-quality training and support
• Deliver systematic instruction and facilitate small group delivery and in-class support
• Liaise with local businesses, communities, and charities to secure work placements and volunteering opportunities for students
• Conduct Support Interviews and develop Personal Learning Plans, Personal Care Plans, and Support Targets
• Support in carrying out EHCP reviews and maintain records of students' progress

Job Requirements:

• Experience in providing training and support to learners
• Understanding of the needs of SEND learners
• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders including businesses and community organisations

Additional Information:

• Contract role covering the period from September to 20/12/2024
• Based at Manchester Airport, 171 Brownley Road, Wythenshawe, Manchester, M22 9UH or University Hospitals Nelson Street, Manchester, M13 9NQ
• This role is subject to IR35 regulations
• £18 ph
• 37 hours per week
