Project Manager

£30,500 per year

Full-time, 35 hours per week

Fixed-term contract for 1 year

Based in London / home and flexible working

Our client empowers people with the reading and writing skills they need to succeed in life. Together theyre helping people change their stories. You could join them as Project Manager delivering their work with primary schools and other settings, including sports clubs.

What youll be doing

Our client have a range of programmes that use sport to engage children and young people with reading and writing. You will work alongside a wide range of stakeholders to deliver our clients primary-focused projects.

You will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery, including recruitment of settings, content development, training, safeguarding, risk management, event management and quality assurance. As part of a team of six, you will also be involved with the delivery of other programmes and activities, including support for our clients Alternative Provision programmes, across the team.

As part of our clients Sport and Alternative Provision team, you will work closely with the wider School Programmes team, as well as external contacts including sport coaches, school staff at varied levels, and students.

This role is based in London but with the flexibility to work from home for the majority of the time. However, you will need to be able to be in London for team and staff days, which could be an average of once a month, as well as travelling for in-person project delivery and training when necessary.

What our client is looking for

You will be an excellent project manager, and have experience of event planning and delivery, as well as previous work within a school, Further Education college or Alternative Provision settings. Adaptibility, cooperativeness and your organisational skills are essential, whilst familiarity with working with sports clubs would be an advantage.
