We are looking for an Electronics Engineering Manager who can lead a small team of electronics design and development engineers. You'll be responsible for the direction of travel associated with current design and development activities along with deploying the longer term engineering strategy. Leadership, planning & delivery of both customer and internally funded development programmes required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrated leadership of engineering teams through change Experience in electronics hardware, software and control system design Experience of hybrid design and/or mixed signal test design is an advantage Programme management of development projects Experience of ownership of engineering processes (NPI, Config Mgt, etc) Experience of working with Aerospace and Defence customers Strong leader and cross functional relationship builder Confident presenter to customers and internal stakeholders High level of organisation and planning skills Use of business software tools including Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ERP systems
Qualifications Degree level in electrical/electronic/systems engineering Post Graduate qualification (MBA, Masters) beneficial
This position would suit an electronics engineer who is still relatively hands on but is now working at the Principal Engineer level. You could be leading a small team and looking for the next step into a more managerial role, or you may be an established manager and who is looking for a change of scene and the chance to make a real difference.
