About the role
As a Personal Independence Manager, you will play a pivotal role in empowering our people to achieve and maintain independence at PwC. You will provide support, guidance, and resources to them enabling both the firm and them to maintain independence from clients and follow the rules set out by our regulators.
What your days will look like
In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the firm, including partners, staff and internal teams. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying and implementing solutions that streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and ultimately enhance our service delivery. While specialist independence knowledge is preferred, it is by no means essential. We welcome individuals who demonstrate a proven track record of flexibility and adaptability, coupled with a genuine eagerness to learn and grow.

This role is for you if:
- Independence Knowledge: Preferable experience with the application of rules or regulations (doesn't have to be Auditor Independence-related) to real-world scenarios.
- Flexibility and Adaptability : Ideally a candidate who has had responsibility for a process or function and has experience of managing this in a challenging environment.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to make connections between different concepts, and clearly articulate these to a non-expert
- Team Player : Experience of navigating multiple stakeholder relationships successfully and coaching junior team members.
