Business Administration Apprentice - Level 3

Our client are a small friendly, office team, seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Business Administration Apprentice. This position offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in various aspects of business administration in a social care company, while working closely with their experienced team. As an apprentice, you will receive on-the-job training and support to develop your skills in administrative tasks and office management.

About our client:

Our client provides a wide variety of care services for people living in their own homes. They have a team of approx. 200 care and support workers across Kent who are trained to meet a wide variety of needs. They tailor care based on the specific needs of each of their customers ensuring a thorough and person-centred service.

The role:

Possible start date: ASAP
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Total working hours: 40

What you will do in your working day:

  • Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department or individual
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure inventory is well-stocked
  • Perform clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, and mailing documents
  • Assist in organizing meetings, conferences, and events
  • Utilize computerized systems and software for data entry and record keeping
  • Support the team in various administrative projects as assigned

The training you will receive:

  • Level 3 Business Administration qualification
  • All training is undertaken online, through a combination of self-paced eLearning and live online classes
  • Functional skills in English & maths if required

Future prospects:

Potential full time role on successful completion of this apprenticeship

Qualifications required:

GCSE or equivalent English (Grade A* - C 9/4) - Desired
GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade A* - C 9/4) - Desired

Personal Skills required:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
  • Proficient in using computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges

The apprenticeship:

Qualification: Business Administration Level 3
Duration: 15 months
