The ideal Academic Mentor candidate will:

• Hold a 1st Class degree from a Top 10 UK University
• Have a strong academic background with A*/A grades at A-Level and GCSE
• Be enthusiastic about supporting students in their academic journeys
• Have a natural ability to motivate and inspire students in 1:1 or small group sessions
• Be confident in providing subject-specific support, while also being flexible to help with related subjects

Key responsibilities of the Academic Mentor role:

• Provide 1:1 and small group academic mentoring in your specialist subject area
• Support students across KS4 and KS5 in achieving their academic goals
• Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure the best outcomes for students
• Track and monitor student progress to ensure they remain on target
• Offer additional academic support in related subjects as required
