Performance Technician (Events)

This leading HMC co-educational school seeks to appoint a Performance Technician (Events) to join the enthusiastic and professional support team.

The successful applicant will support the Theatre Technical Manager and the Theatre/AV Team, in ensuring that events taking place on the School site receive appropriate technical assistance, especially with regards to sound, lighting and effects. The school has a thriving events programme across a number of on-site venues including our dedicated 350 seat theatre.

The position is available on a fixed-term, part-time basis throughout the year, until the end of August 2025. There is the potential for the role to become permanent.

Working hours will normally be worked as three full (7.5 hour) days. However, the role entails frequent evening and weekend work so there may be occasions where other shift patterns are required.

The salary for this role will be between £18,000 and £21,000 per annum (pro rata) depending on skills and experience (based on an FTE from £30,000 to £35,000 per annum) and will be paid monthly.
