Contract Type: Permanent – Leatherhead Office


Salary & Comms: £35,000 + commission

The role – Account Manager

Working as part of a new team to enable effective and cost-efficient sourcing, adoption and management of Software, Security and Cloud services for customers. You will build a customer network through harnessing the range of solutions and services across their portfolio.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Making sure customers understand their proposition and the value Bytes can bring to them.
  • Generate and develop new business and grow the portfolio of solutions and services to existing customers.
  • Create and drive sales pipeline and growth.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Strive to provide a positive customer experience.


About you:


Have you become established within a certain sector and now looking for a new area to push yourself?


Been working weekends in a role for the last few years and want to have your weekends back? Then this could be your chance for a change of industry.


  • You will ideally have 2 years + IT Sales experience, or 5 years’ solid experience within another sector.
  • Keen interest in the tech sector is desirable.
  • Inquisitive mindset and approach that aids your understanding of the customer, their challenges, and objectives.
  • Will strive to work hard to provide the best possible customer service.
  • Enjoy building relationships with people and maintain those successfully.
  • Good listening and people skills.

The ideal candidate for this role will have the ability to create and nurture high quality relationships whilst demonstrating commercial creativity to deliver a win/win outcome. They will contribute to the organisation by obtaining customer references which highlight our relevance in achieving customer goals.


Support and training:


  • Sales grading structure with clearly defined roadmap to progress through the stages up to Client Director level
  • Robust performance management from the Sales Management team – this includes:
  • Goal setting
  • Quarterly pipeline reviews
  • Monthly 1-1s
  • Salespeople co-create their objectives & are encouraged to focus on daily & weekly activities to ensure the successful achievement of targets
  • All staff have access to training across all disciplines, from presentation skills, consultative selling, power point skills and more
