MARKETING ASSISTANT PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

• Fluent in English
• Ability to see through the development and delivery of creative content
• A good understanding of social media and the opportunities that it presents in order to effectively assist and support the Social Media Specialist Creative flair and a good artistic eye for detail
• An interest in golf and solid understanding of golf equipment
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office applications to intermediate level
• Completes tasks fully following through on the detail in a meaningful way
• Good project management skills and uses time management techniques to plan and organise workload, managing peaks and troughs and deliver time-sensitive projects to deadline
• Remains calm and polite under pressure
• Communicates confidently and effectively with manager, colleagues and other contacts
• Uses initiative
• Highly motivated, creative individual with a passion for connecting with current and future consumers
• Excellent proof-reading skills
• Willingness to learn and carry out miscellaneous marketing activities to help the marketing team

Desirable

• Degree/CIM in Marketing or related field
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media
• Demonstrable ability using a marcomms platform – such as Mailchimp
• Understanding of CRM
• Trained in the fundamentals of design imaging
• Experience in using Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator
• Photography/videography experience
• Plays golf
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Strong reporting skills

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communications, Media and PR Activity
• Assist the Marcomms & Social Media Specialist to create engaging communications that go out to customers and consumers
• Help to maintain our databases – using the CRM to create/update/maintain audience lists for both B2B and B2C communications
• Work closely with and liaise with media management agency and oversee that media samples are sent out efficiently to the media, influencers and key accounts for reviews

Social Media

• Assist in the planning and strategy of the social media channels
• Assist in the day-to-day running of the company social media accounts under the supervision of the MarComms & Social Media Specialist
• Assist in the planning and development of content to be shared via our various channels

Assistance in a Broad Range of Marketing Activities

• Work closely with ambassadors and influencers in order to maximise their potential
• Work closely with the Tour Department to obtain imagery and time with the Tour Players for content creation purposes
• Help to create content by working with our creative agency on location (some travel required)
• Undertake Brand representation at consumer shows
• Ensure that our Digital Assets are up to date and the latest marketing material is available - Bynder
• To create engaging content on Myagi to help educate staff and customers about our product ranges
• Point of contact for sales reps
• Responsible for replying to any enquiries that come into the marketing inbox via the website in a timely and efficient manner
• Liaise with our graphic designer to deliver briefs and create miscellaneous marketing collateral
• Work with the demo team and send out demo day point of sale packs to accounts
• Undertake other “every day” marketing tasks presented by the marketing team

Hybrid Working - 2 days a week must be spent at our UK office in Ash Vale

The successful applicant will occasionally be required to travel to events and content shoots.

Some weekend or out of office hours may also be required and will be arranged in accordance with internal procedures.
