Children's Residential - Support Worker

If so, we're hiring Senior Support Workers for our new Children's Residential Home inSheffield!

Location:Sheffield S4

Job Types:Full-Time / Part-time / Zero Hours (across a full rota pattern)

Salary:

Senior Support Worker - from£29,720.00 to £231,800.00 per annum (£13.25 - £14.25) DoE & Qualifications.

Package is inclusive of 4 sleep-ins per month and based on a 40 hour per week average.

The Role:

  • Assist with the care of our children and young people aged 12-17 ensuring that a homely environment in maintained. Contributing to meeting each childs physical, emotional, social and educational needs.
  • Build positive relationships with children and support their development whilst ensuring that they are kept safe.
  • Working within a Team to advocate for children's needs

Our Ideal Candidate will:

  • Must hold a Level 3 Diploma Residential Child Care OR Level 3 Diploma Children & Young Peoples Workforce.
  • Have a genuine desire to improve lives and promote self-esteem
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and empathy
  • Stay calm under pressure and work flexibly
  • Work as part of a team - bringing energy and enthusiasm to the role
  • Either have their Level 3 Children Residential Childcare qualification (or equivalent) OR is committed to working towards.
  • Be willing to learn and go the extra mile
