Your greatest challenge awaits you here:

Domain: Data - Digital Factory

Context: Within the Customer, Loyalty & Partnerships team, the Product Owner reports to the Tribe Product Lead.

The Customer Data team is divided into two Feature Teams: Customer Insights & Analytics and Customer Core Products.
  • Customer Insights & Analytics designs and develops essential products for customer knowledge, marketing campaign targeting, and contactability measurement.
  • Customer Core Products is responsible for the customer repository, which activates a broad portfolio of data products and business processes. It also ensures GDPR compliance of the customer database.

One of the team's major challenges is to deliver more products, including AI models, for greater customer predictability. Customer Data provides marketing levers, retention strategies, and new client acquisition opportunities with high revenue potential.

Major marketing client relationship programs are progressively integrating the outcomes of predictive models developed by the team. These models will support enhanced business processes deployed across all CRM teams-centrally, in Hubs, and in individual hotels. These predictive models are eagerly awaited by marketing teams to maintain a contactable and actionable customer base.

The Product Owner transforms the Tribe's strategy and goals into a clear product vision, which will be implemented by these two feature teams.

The Product Owner directly manages the Customer Insights & Analytics Feature Team and is supported by a Product Owner who manages the Customer Core Products team.

In collaboration with the Tech Lead of their Feature Team, the Product Owner devises a concrete approach to deliver a data product that meets the requirements of business users.

They have strong expertise in data management and usage. They build a lasting working relationship with key stakeholders (Business, other Digital Factory domains, Hubs, hotels, etc.) to ensure the roadmap aligns with both business and Digital Factory priorities.

They write user stories and lead the Feature Team through agile ceremonies.

Your Mission:
  • Define an ambitious and clear product vision aligned with the business and data strategy, under the guidance of the Tribe Lead.
  • Effectively communicate the strategy to stakeholders, the Feature Team, and the Tribe.
  • Collect and structure business needs and feedback.
  • Manage and maintain a backlog with 3 to 4 sprints planned in advance.
  • Work closely with the Tribe Lead, Digital & Business Factory stakeholders, Business Performance, regions, and group brands to assess the business value of requested developments and ensure proper communication to secure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (Tech Leads, POs of other Feature Teams, Tribe Leads, Data Science Chapter) to ensure overall coherence of the Customer, Loyalty & Partnerships product vision.
  • Plan and communicate releases with the Tech Lead and organize demonstrations for identified stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment between product development and the defined product vision.
  • Define and track KPIs that measure the performance of delivered increments and prioritize the backlog accordingly.
  • Be responsible for monitoring incidents and production requests with the Tech Lead (e.g., tickets, metrics) and coordinate their resolution within the Feature Team.
  • Challenge business requests in light of expected business value and product vision.
  • Use simple technical-functional language to ensure data-related issues are understood.
