SEN TA with Specialism in Challenging Behaviours

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £85-£100 per day

Location: Barnet

Job Type: Full Time, Long Term

About the role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support our students with challenging behaviours, including ADHD, in either EYFS, KS1, or KS2. This role is essential in helping our pupils overcome obstacles to their learning and flourish academically and socially. You will play a pivotal part in creating a safe and encouraging environment, enabling children to achieve their full potential.

Application Requirements:

• Relevant experience in supporting children with challenging behaviours, particularly in a school setting.

• A passion for working with children and a commitment to their welfare and development.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, staff, and parents.

• A proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with challenging behaviours in the classroom, helping them engage with the curriculum.

• Work closely with teachers to implement individual learning plans and monitor student progress.

• Provide emotional and social support to help children develop their confidence and self-esteem.

• Assist in the delivery of tailored interventions and group activities.

• Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to create a cohesive learning community.
