Key Stage 1 Teacher

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £160-£210 per day

Location: Hackney

Job Type: Full Time, Long Term

About the role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join this wonderful Hackney school. You will be working with a bright, enthusiastic class of young learners, helping to shape their educational journey during these important early years. This is a full-time, long-term role offering the opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds, delivering engaging lessons across a broad and balanced curriculum. You will have access to excellent resources and be part of a supportive team, with ample opportunities for professional development and growth.

Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in KS1.

• Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum.

• A passion for education and a commitment to fostering young learners’ development.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to KS1 pupils’ needs.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.

• Use creative teaching strategies to make learning fun and impactful.

• Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback.

• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure a high standard of education.

• Maintain excellent communication with parents and carers to support pupils’ learning.
