Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £160-£210 per day

Location: Brent

About the role:

As the EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for leading a class of eager and enthusiastic Reception or Nursery students. You will be instrumental in creating a fun, engaging, and structured environment that promotes hands-on learning, ensuring that each child receives the guidance and support they need to develop their skills in early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development.

This part-time role offers the flexibility to balance your professional responsibilities with your personal commitments, making it an ideal position for teachers looking for more flexibility. The school offers well-designed lesson plans but also values creativity, giving you the freedom to introduce exciting new activities that align with the EYFS curriculum. You will work closely with a dedicated teaching assistant and receive the full support of the school’s senior leadership team, ensuring you have all the resources you need to deliver high-quality teaching.

Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent early years teaching qualification.

• Proven experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage.

• A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to nurturing young minds.

• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and best teaching practices.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver stimulating and age-appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum.

• Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment that supports the holistic development of every child.

• Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure all children are achieving their potential.

• Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure a consistent approach to each child’s development.

• Encourage creative learning through play, outdoor activities, and interactive lessons.
