Electrical / Electronic Engineering Lecturer
Devon (Commutable from Exeter, Barnstaple, Tiverton, Bude)
£35,000 - £41,000 DOE (+ Pension (28%), Funded Training, 40 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Progression & Benefits)
Are you looking for a new opportunity where you can utilise your experience and knowledge of Electrical/Electronic Engineering to inspire the next generation of engineers?
An FE College in the Devon area are currently hiring for an experienced Electrical Engineering Lecturer to deliver Electrical/Electronics up to Level 4, on a full-time, permanent basis.
Teaching experience is required, and whilst a teaching qualification is desirable, the college would be happy to provide full training and support to any successful applicant who is looking to attain these.
Job Description
Teach BTEC and T-Level Electrical / Electronic Engineering
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons, both theoretical and practical
Assess and provide feedback on student progress
Create and update course materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of a diverse group of learners
Provide support and guidance to apprentices throughout their training journey
Assess and evaluate student work to ensure they meet the required standards
Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements
Collaborate with industry professionals to enhance the apprenticeship program
Required Skills and Experience
Hold a relevant qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Have substantial industry experience in a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent knowledge of electrical and electronic principles
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
