Job Description

We are pleased to offer a fantastic opportunity for three passionate and driven individuals to join our Engineering Apprenticeship Programme.

Lhoist is a globally renowned minerals manufacturing company, headquartered in Belgium, with multiple sites across the UK. We are deeply committed to the communities we operate from and are actively transitioning towards a low carbon future to ensure sustainability.

We are expanding our apprentice programme and currently have openings for the following positions:

1 x Operations Apprentice

1 x Electrical Technician Apprentice

These positions are based at our Hindlow site in Buxton.

Additionally, we have an opening for:

1 x Operations Apprentice

This position is based at our Steetley Dolomite site in Whitwell, S80 3LJ.

The successful individuals will embark on a 4-year apprenticeship programme with North Staffordshire Engineering Group Training Association gaining a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering Manufacture or Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

To apply you will need the following:

GCSE Qualification: minimum of 5 level 4 and above.

Live close to either our plant in Hindlow or Whitwell with suitable transport.

Have a passion for engineering and be excited about sustainability and carbon neutrality.

Have an appetite for growth into higher level positions.

We are offering a competitive and progressive salary starting at £13,500 with benefits which include 25 days paid annual holiday.
