Service and Maintenance Engineer (Air Conditioning and Refrigeration)

As an experienced AC and refrigeration engineer you will be working closely with the client to deliver exceptional service, professional and courteous always and ensuring high standards, quality and efficiency are met.

You'll be mainly travelling within the Northwest and Yorkshire to service clients across various sectors and are supported by a small established office team based in Milnrow, Rochdale.

Job Description

• To undertake reactive call out, remedial work & planned maintenance to air conditioning and small to medium refrigeration systems, predominantly across the Northwest and Yorkshire.
• This role is for a refrigeration biased engineer who is confident with small A/C systems.
• Refrigeration systems within our portfolio include coldrooms, blast chillers, freezer rooms, package fridges/freezers. City and Guilds 6187-21 (hydrocarbons) or equivalent would be essential.
• Undertaking works on your own or as part of a team, dependant on the requirements of each site.
• Managing your van including ensuring stock levels of ancillary products are maintained.
• Proficiently completing reports on our app-based field management software.
• Liaising with our valued customers in a polite and courteous manner.
• Inclusion in the out of hours call out rota.

Requirements

• A full clean UK driving license.
• An excellent general appearance and demeanour.
• The ability to manage your own workload.
• Availability for occasional out of normal hours work (paid at enhanced overtime rates).
• Smart phone literate.
• Be able to clear an enhanced DBS without any convictions.
• Full and valid F-Gas qualification at either City & Guilds or NVQ level.
• CSCS card or equivalent is an advantage but not a requirement.
