Learning Support Assistant | The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play an essential role in ensuring students receive the academic and emotional support they need to thrive. Whether it’s guiding mainstream pupils through the complexities of classroom tasks or offering tailored assistance to SEN students, you’ll be a key figure in helping each child reach their potential.

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Learning Support Assistant will include:

• Providing one-on-one and small group support for SEN pupils, helping them engage with the curriculum.
• Assisting mainstream students in the classroom, offering guidance on tasks that may require extra clarification.
• Working closely with teachers and the SENCo to adapt lesson plans and strategies for individual needs.
• Creating a positive and supportive learning environment, ensuring every student feels confident and capable.

Learning Support Assistant | Requirements:

• A degree from one of the UK’s top 20 universities.
• Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant in a primary or secondary school setting is required.
• A genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people in their educational journey.
